Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xiao Long Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes into the arena with Dragon Punch! blaring out of the sound system. Davidson has chosen August Burns Red - Meridian as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xiao Long Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dustin Davidson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Li with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Li on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Davidson. Davidson obviously looking to wear him down.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Davidson.
Davidson throws a hook but Li avoids it easily.
Davidson jabs Li right on the nose. Li blinks but takes it well.
Davidson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
An inside leg kick from Li misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Li.
Davidson moves out of range of the leg kick from Li.
Davidson throws a hook but Li blocks it.
Li lands a lovely overhand right.
Davidson catches Li with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Li misses with a body kick.
A shot to the liver by Li. Beautiful body shot.
Li lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Li is looking to slow Davidson down with leg kicks.
Davidson moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li misses with a lunging right hand
and Davidson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Davidson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Davidson clobbers Li with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Li dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Davidson. That did some damage!
Some bone on bone action there as Davidson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Li finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Li throws an off balance right hand
and Davidson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Li cracks Davidson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Li cracks Davidson with an open hand slap.
Davidson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Li counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Davidson misses with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davidson checks a leg kick.
Li keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Davidson.
Davidson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davidson misses with a few strikes there.
Davidson checks a leg kick nicely.
Li fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Davidson.
Li looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Davidson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Li.
Xiao Long Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davidson just misses with a punch to the body.
Li takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Davidson throws a lazy uppercut
and Li counters with a nice low kick that buckles Davidson's knee momentarily.
Nice defenses there by Davidson.
Davidson misses with an uppercut
and Li counters with a stiff right hand.
Davidson is rocked!
Davidson leaves his chin hanging out and Li seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Davidson crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xiao Long Li!
