The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Towns cracks Carioca with a right hand to the side of the head.
Carioca pushes Towns up against the cage in a clinch.

Carioca tries to throw a body punch but Towns avoids it by throwing Carioca back against the cage.
Towns can't find room to land a body shot as Carioca controls the action.
Towns tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Carioca's elbow.

Towns is trying to maintain a safe position but Carioca gets an underhook and turns Towns into the cage.

The crowd are getting on Carioca's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Carioca dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Carioca Throws a clean left jab. Carioca Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Towns's chin! Towns crumbles to the ground and Carioca follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Carioca!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Paulo Carioca!
