The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Lamel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lamel lands the left hand.

It looks like Booker Wright has been cut.
Lamel scores with a jab to the head.
Lamel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lamel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Luther Lamel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lamel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wright circles away quickly and effectively.
Lamel connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Wright tumbling to the canvas! Lamel pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Wright was done - good stoppage!

Luther Lamel spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
