Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlo Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jayson Satudarah!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Satudarah tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silva is in Satudarah's guard.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Satudarah wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Satudarah is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Satudarah on his heels. He'll look to pass Satudarah's guard now, I'm sure.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Satudarah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Satudarah has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Satudarah's legs - danger averted.
