Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lance Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Destin Craven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lance Waters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Destin Craven!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters clinches with his opponent.
A frustrated look appears on Craven's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Waters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Craven has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Waters fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Craven has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Craven will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Craven shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Waters's guard.

A close round but Destin Craven will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Waters counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Waters throws a shot from downtown. Craven moves away and avoids it.
Waters stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Waters wants it to stay on the feet.

Waters throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Craven on the side of the head.
