Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leboj Jedan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Ivanov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Jab, jab by Ivanov - just one landing.
Jedan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ivanov's waist but Ivanov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jedan off to one side.
Ivanov thuds his right hand into Jedan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ivanov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ivanov shoots in looking for a takedown. Jedan tries to sprawl out of it but Ivanov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jedan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jedan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jedan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ivanov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
