Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Napoleon Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guntis Diezins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diezins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Diezins enables Elliott to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Diezins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Diezins has his foot on Elliott's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Elliott works his way back into a safe position though.

Diezins pulls Elliott in close to his closed guard and prevents Elliott from doing any damage or advancing position.

Elliott drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diezins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Elliott has Diezins in his guard.

Elliott wants to sweep but no luck.
Diezins postures up and lands a big shot to Elliott's brow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Diezins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elliott defends it well.

Diezins is nestled in close to Elliott, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Diezins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Elliott with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Elliott is concentrating on defense, preventing Diezins from advancing position.
Diezins thows a huge punch but Elliott dodges it nicely.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Diezins lands a nice short elbow.

Diezins turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Diezins manages to end up in side control.
