The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maciel uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bungradidoa has time to react.

It looks like Mophaf Bungradidoa has been cut.
Maciel darts in trying to clinch

and Bungradidoa holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bungradidoa has Maciel pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Maciel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Maciel wants to break free but Bungradidoa has control.
Bungradidoa is working for takedown but Maciel is calmly controlling the position for now.
Maciel is trying to push Bungradidoa away but Bungradidoa has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
A frustrated look appears on Maciel's face as he tries to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maciel is pressed up against the ropes. Bungradidoa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maciel down to the mat. Maciel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bungradidoa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Bungradidoa is trying to maintain a safe position but Maciel gets an underhook and turns Bungradidoa into the ropes.
Bungradidoa has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maciel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bungradidoa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Maciel tries to break the clinch but Bungradidoa is controlling the position.

Maciel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maciel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Maciel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bungradidoa prevents Maciel from getting back to his feet.
Bungradidoa wants to control from the top but Maciel keeps moving.

Maciel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bungradidoa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Maciel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bungradidoa sprawling to the canvas! Bungradidoa rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maciel finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Maciel fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bungradidoa to the ground. Maciel is now in Bungradidoa's guard.

Bungradidoa walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bungradidoa limp body while Maciel jumps on to the ropes and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
