Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis Alkofer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alkofer gets slowly back to his feet.
Alkofer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Anderson counters with a three punch combo that has Alkofer backing up. Alkofer nods at Anderson to acknowledge the strikes.
Anderson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dennis Alkofer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Anderson jerks Alkofer's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Alkofer drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Anderson goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Anderson because Alkofer was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
