Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dock Jeffries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koji Sobando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koji Sobando has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dock Jeffries's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jeffries duly obliges.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sobando shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jeffries napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sobando has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jeffries!
Jeffries's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Sobando tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jeffries wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Sobando is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jeffries is forced to tap! Great finish!
