Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Noob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Noob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jay Jones!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Noob moves out of range easily.
Jones misses with a wild combination.

Jones pushes Noob up against the cage in a clinch.
Jones trying to land knees to the body.
Noob has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Noob goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Noob back into the cage.

Jones decides to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Noob being controlled here momentarily.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Noob is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Noob trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones is pulling down on Noob's head to control his posture.

We're going to have a standup here because Jake Noob wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Noob looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Noob to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Noob is trying to get back to full guard.

Jones in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Noob tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jones!

Jay Jones very nearly forgot to thank Cage Star amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Jake Noob spoke after the fight, saying 'sorry to fans but i am so pretty at least you got too look at me !'.
