The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koljeno shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jk lands a glancing blow to the side of Koljeno's head.
Koljeno looks to clinch
and Jk counters with a nice kick to the body.

Jk stalks Koljeno and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Koljeno's face. Koljeno staggers backwards, shaken.

Jk lands a big head kick that sends Koljeno tumbling to the mat! Jk takes a step backwards and waves Koljeno back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jk scores with a one two! Koljeno had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Koljeno moves in looking to clinch but Jk pushes him off.

Jk uses his free foot to push down on Koljeno's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Koljeno.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Koljeno is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koljeno is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Koljeno throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jk chips away with some ground and pound.
Jk passes Koljeno's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Jk is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Jk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Koljeno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Koljeno is breathing heavily.
Koljeno is trying to stand up here but Jk is controlling him well.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jk moves nicely into side control.

Jk wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Koljeno, who protects the arm well.

Jk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koljeno looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Koljeno is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Koljeno is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jk couldn't care less - he's delighted!
