Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Thornton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Seamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Thornton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Christopher Seamon!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seamon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Thornton, pushing him back against the cage.

Thornton pulls guard.
Seamon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Thornton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seamon is aware though and is defending well.

Seamon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thornton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Seamon has managed to get both his arms back between Thornton's legs - danger averted.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Seamon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Seamon trying to control the position from guard on top but Thornton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thornton throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Seamon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Seamon has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Thornton to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Seamon is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Thornton pulls down on the head and he's put Seamon to sleep! This one is all over!
