Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Crocop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brad Brennan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brad Brennan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Crocop!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocop misses with a body kick.
Brennan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crocop.
Crocop lands a really nice looking cross but Brennan seems unphased.
Crocop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brennan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brennan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brennan tries to bum rush Crocop with a series of wild strikes but Crocop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brennan closes the distance but Crocop moves to the side
and Crocop counters with a body kick.
Brennan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crocop throws a jab when Brennan was well out of range.
Brennan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crocop. That one must have hurt.
Brennan avoids the head kick by Crocop.
Brennan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crocop.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brennan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brennan moves into the clinch.
Brennan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crocop bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brennan's head backwards.
It looks like Brad Brennan has been cut.
Brennan loads up on a big right hand but Crocop slips the punch.
Crocop avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Brennan. Those never looked like landing.
Crocop bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Brennan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Brennan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Brennan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brennan moves to clinch but Crocop breaks away
and Crocop counters with a good, hard body kick but Brennan shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crocop misses with a kick to the body.

Crocop scores with a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Crocop there.
Brennan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Crocop misses with a looping left.
Crocop throws a right and a left that Brennan avoids nicely.
Crocop bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Crocop throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Crocop stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Brennan misses with a combination
and Crocop counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Crocop throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Brennan is breathing heavily.
Donk. Crocop catches Brennan right on the button with a cross.
Brad Brennan's cut is getting worse.
Crocop looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Brennan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crocop lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Brennan throws an off balance right hand
and Crocop counters with a one-two to the body.
Brennan needs to keep his hands up - Crocop had a free shot at his head there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brennan tries to close the distance and clinch but Crocop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oooooh!!! Crocop has knocked Brennan down with a huge combo! Crocop steps away and waves a wobbly Brennan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Crocop throws a head kick that Brennan semi-blocks.
Brad Brennan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Crocop circles away from the clinch attempt
and Crocop counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Crocop lands a jab.
Jeez, Brad Brennan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Crocop scores with a jab to the head.
Crocop lands a big head kick that sends Brennan tumbling to the mat! Crocop takes a step backwards and waves Brennan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brad Brennan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mirko Crocop!
