Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayrton Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Above Envy - World Goes Wild. Silva has chosen The Automatic - Monster as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ayrton Silva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Adam Rose has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ayrton Silva!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a leg kick but Rose sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Rose seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Rose changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Rose working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Silva sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Rose is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Silva is concentrating on defense, preventing Rose from advancing position.

Rose is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Rose eventually gives up the hold.

Silva has Rose pulled in close to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rose thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva is pulling down on Rose's head. It's preventing any offense from Rose, at least for the moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Rose will probably get the nod.
That's time! Rose's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rose. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
A bone on bone clash there as Rose blocks the leg kick.
Rose bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rose goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rose but great work by Silva.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ayrton Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Rose doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Rose will probably get the nod.

Rose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rose moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rose is landing a low percentage of strikes.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
