PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erkekjetter Silenoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Kael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kael has chosen Nagasaki - Ken Doh as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erkekjetter Silenoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Kael!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Kael.
Silenoz throws a looping overhand right but Kael ducks down to avoid it.
Silenoz slips a straight right by Kael.
Silenoz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kael.

Kael feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kael wants to control from the top but Silenoz keeps moving.

Silenoz is not content to let Kael control the position.

Silenoz wants to improve his position but Kael is controlling well.

Kael moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Silenoz.
Silenoz misses with a strike from the bottom.
Kael passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Silenoz!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silenoz is squirming around, avoiding Kael's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kael has hold of Silenoz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Silenoz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kael works his way to his opponent's back.

Kael working for a choke but Silenoz reverses nicely into Kael 's guard.
Kael looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Kael looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Kael slips a jab from Silenoz.
Kael looks to score with a jab to the body but Silenoz is just out of range.

so Silenoz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kael looking for a sweep. Not yet Kael, not yet.
Silenoz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Silenoz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silenoz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kael is pulling down on Silenoz's head. It's preventing any offense from Silenoz, at least for the moment.
Silenoz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Silenoz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kael bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silenoz's guard.

Silenoz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kael is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silenoz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kael's back instead.
Silenoz doesn't have the hooks in and Kael manages to turn into his guard.
Kael passes Silenoz's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Silenoz strikes from the bottom but Kael passes into mount!
Silenoz tries to reverse the position but Kael maintains control.

Kael jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Silenoz manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kael tries for a kimura but Silenoz is defending well.

Silenoz is trying to buck Kael off.
Silenoz throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Silenoz is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kael is controlling him well.
Silenoz is not content to let Kael control the position.
Silenoz struggling a bit here.
Kael works to advance to full mount. Silenoz defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kael tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Silenoz is squirming around, avoiding Kael's attempts to control the action.
Silenoz tries to lock up and control but Kael gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Silenoz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Silenoz is trying to defend against the choke here but Kael has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Kael Tightens the hold and Silenoz taps out furiously! Kael displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
