The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

von Bismarck feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

defg wants to sweep here but von Bismarck controlling him for the moment.
von Bismarck postures up in defg's guard and throws a big left but defg blocks it.

von Bismarck drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but defg manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now von Bismarck has defg in his guard.

von Bismarck had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. defg is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. von Bismarck Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take defg's back instead.
von Bismarck tries to keep control of the position but defg is staying busy.
defg manages to reverse the position and now he's in von Bismarck's guard. Nice work there by defg.

von Bismarck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. defg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. defg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

von Bismarck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. defg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

von Bismarck is looking to sinch up a triangle. defg throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to von Bismarck's body to avoid the submission. von Bismarck has instead reached around defg's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! von Bismarck arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
