The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman moves in looking to clinch but Carter pushes him off.
Carter connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Llewelyn Carter has been cut.
Cartman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Carter avoids it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cartman creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Carter sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Carter parries the strikes from Cartman easily there. Cartman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Carter to escape.
