The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastage looks to land a right hand but Sabian moved out of range.
Bastage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sabian.
Jab, jab by Bastage - just one landing.
Bastage misses the jab.
Bastage scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sabian staying out of range there.
Sabian dodges the punch combination from Bastage.
Sic Bastage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabian slips under a jab.
Bastage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No joy there for Bastage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bastage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sabian tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bastage swivels and escapes.

Bastage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sabian slips a straight right by Bastage.

Bastage lands a nice hook to Sabian's body. Sabian takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bastage does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bastage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sabian tries to avoid it but Bastage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sabian to the ground. Sabian escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bastage ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sabian is breathing heavily.
Bastage fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sabian looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sabian keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sabian displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bastage throws out the jab.
Sabian slips a jab from Bastage.
Bastage wants to clinch up but Sabian keeps it at a distance.
Bastage looks to score with a jab to the body but Sabian is just out of range.

Bastage uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sabian has time to react.
Bastage throws a hook to the side of Sabian's head but Sabian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
