Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Marsters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blade Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Guru Josh Project - Infinity as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Marsters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Blade Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsters moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marsters misses with a few strikes there.
Marsters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marsters lands with a right hand.


It looks like Blade Jackson has been cut.
Marsters looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marsters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marsters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jackson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Some wild striking there from Marsters.
Marsters fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marsters uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Marsters moves out of range.

Marsters throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marsters doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson.

Jackson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Marsters escapes and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marsters wants to stand but Jackson has his arm trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson avoids the head kick by Marsters.
Marsters lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Marsters is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson.

Marsters shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well.

Marsters throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Marsters is refusing to be controlled, as Jackson sits in half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jackson trying to control the action but Marsters is working from the bottom.
Jackson wants to pass to mount but Marsters is defending the position.
Jackson prevents Marsters from standing back up.

Marsters is looking to get back to is feet but Jackson passes into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Jackson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marsters knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Marsters tries to escape but Jackson is in control.
Marsters trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marsters is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Marsters tries to control but Jackson manages to take his back.
Jackson tries to get the hooks in deep but Marsters pushed the leg off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blade Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Marsters tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Marsters wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Marsters keeps moving.
Jackson won't allow Marsters to get back to his feet.

Jackson passes Marsters's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jackson wants to pass to mount but Marsters is defending the position.

Jackson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jackson wants to free his trapped foot but Marsters is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marsters defends it well.
Marsters tries to kick Jackson off in order to stand up. Jackson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Jackson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Marsters has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jackson but great work by Marsters.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jackson regains half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jackson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Marsters wants to get up but he can't break Jackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Marsters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Marsters's guard.
Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Marsters gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jackson is looking for a triangle but Marsters pushes his legs off easily.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marsters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Marsters!

Jackson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Marsters manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Marsters tries to stand but Jackson controls the position and pulls Marsters into his guard.

Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

And that's the end of the fight!
Blade Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jackson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
