Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaeq Lauzou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Francois La Poulet!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzou fakes high and swings low for a body shot but La Poulet manages to avoid it.
Lauzou does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

La Poulet avoids the head kick by Lauzou.
La Poulet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lauzou's waist but Lauzou gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing La Poulet off to one side.
Lauzou misses with a double jab.
Lauzou lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lauzou swats away the attempt to clinch by La Poulet.
Lauzou throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
La Poulet looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lauzou drops La Poulet with a right and a left! Lauzou comes rushing in but La Poulet regains his composure and manages to keep Lauzou in guard.
La Poulet is rocked!
It looks like Francois La Poulet has been cut.
Lauzou gets to his feet and stands over La Poulet, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! La Poulet felt that one! Lauzou unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save La Poulet from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaeq Lauzou!
