Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Dumonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Incredius Roundius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Incredius Roundius!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roundius shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dumonte misses with the combination.
Roundius pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dumonte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Roundius shoots for a double leg takedown but Dumonte sprawls well. He's pushed Roundius's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looks like Incredius Roundius has been cut.

Roundius shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Roundius was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Roundius lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dumonte is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roundius accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Roundius stops Dumonte from standing up.
Dumonte manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roundius manages to get himself to full guard.
Roundius wants to stand but Dumonte is controlling the position.
Roundius doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Roundius has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Roundius tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dumonte swivels and escapes.
Paul Dumonte has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Incredius Roundius.

Roundius is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Dumonte lands a hook that snaps the head of Roundius backwards.

Roundius walks into a left hand.
Dumonte moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dumonte darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Roundius walks into a straight right hand from Dumonte.
Dumonte lands with a right hand.
Dumonte punishes Roundius's body with a nice straight punch.
Dumonte scores with a punch to the head.
A jab from Dumonte finds it's way through Roundius's defenses.
Roundius walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Roundius is rocked!

Look low, kick high! Dumonte uses the oldest trick in the book to send Roundius tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Dumonte is absolutely delighted - when Roundius wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
