The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harwood wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance.
Harwood fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Williams keeps the fight on the outside.
Harwood looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Nicky Harwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harwood throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Williams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harwood with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Williams wants to control the pace but Harwood is squirming around nicely.

Williams wants to finish this one by submission but Harwood is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Williams.

Williams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harwood does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Williams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harwood kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Harwood lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Williams is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Harwood is trying to escape and Williams transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Harwood is forced to tap! Nice work there by Williams! Very nice indeed!
