The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Davies shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Reis.
Dean Davies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Reis. No joy for Davies on that attempt.
Reis lands with a nice combination. Davies backs away looking to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Davies is rocked!
Reis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davies's guard.
Davies is still in real trouble! Can Reis finish him?
Reis wants to control from the top but Davies keeps moving.
Reis gets to his feet and stands over Davies, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Davies felt that one! Reis unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Davies from any more punishment!
