The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messner lands with a good body shot.
Messner throws a big shot that misses.
Torres misses with a takedown attempt - Messner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Messner misses with a series of wild punches.
Messner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Torres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Torres.
Nick Messner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonas Torres.
Torres throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Messner's waist but Messner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Torres off to one side.
Messner connects with a right hand. Torres shakes it off.
Messner lands a nice shot to the body.

Torres looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

It looks like Jonas Torres has been cut.

Torres walks into a left hand.
Torres tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Messner defends well and Torres ends up having to push Messner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Torres tries to score a body lock takedown but Messner shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Messner's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Torres goes for a takedown attempt but Messner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Torres looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A nice combination there by Messner.
Torres shoots in for a double leg but Messner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice straight punches there by Messner. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Messner.

Torres is rocked!
Torres backs away from a small jab... but Messner lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Torres crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Messner with a spectacular finish!
