Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shirley Spears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Banner!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banner darts in and clinches Spears up against the cage.
Spears prevents Banner from breaking the clinch.
Spears really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Spears breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spears showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Banner.
Banner throws a series of punches but Spears avoids them all with ease.
Banner throws a right hand that Spears ducks under and follows up with a left that Spears also avoids with ease.
Banner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Banner throws a hook to the side of Spears's head but Spears sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Spears is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Banner's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Spears decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Banner throws a series of punches but Spears moves out of range.
Banner looks winded!
Spears throws a lazy right hand but Banner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Banner misses with a two punch combination.
Banner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spears.

Banner moves into the clinch successfully.

Spears gets control of Banner's arms and successfully pulls guard. Spears will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Spears has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Banner is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Spears can't find room to land a body shot as Banner controls the action.
Spears tries a knee to the head but Banner blocks it.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Spears for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Spears pulls guard.
Spears is pulling down on Banner's head to control his posture.

Spears is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Banner is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Spears uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Spears looks to land a right hand but Banner moved out of range.

Spears closes the distance and pushes Banner back into the cage.
Banner is trying to force a seperation but Spears has the dominant position.
Spears stalling in the clinch.

Spears jumps guard and drags Banner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Banner is posturing up here but Spears has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Banner tries to roll out but it's too tight and Banner has to tap! Slick submission there by Spears!
