PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fiodor Kagayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodo Pavarotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pavarotti has chosen William Tell Overture as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pavarotti gets the takedown into side control.

Pavarotti is staying tight to Kagayev's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kagayev tries to buck Pavarotti off but Pavarotti is having none of it.

Pavarotti stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Kagayev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pavarotti looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pavarotti manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kagayev's best efforts.

Pavarotti looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kagayev is defending well. Pavarotti quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kagayev has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pavarotti celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
