Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcos Ayers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eden Hazard!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hazard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ayers sprawls well initially but Hazard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ayers wants to get back to full guard but Hazard has passed into side control.
Ayers really is a fat lump.
Ayers struggling a bit here.

Hazard goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ayers rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hazard's guard! Nice work there by Ayers!
Hazard wants to stand up but Ayers is controlling him.
Ayers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ayers won't allow Hazard to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hazard looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ayers passes into side control.
The ground and pound from Ayers seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Hazard is not content to let Ayers control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hazard is looking to reverse the position.
Ayers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hazard on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hazard sneaks back into half guard.
Hazard is doing well to control the position and prevent Ayers from advancing to side control.
Hazard works his way to full guard. Good work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hazard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Marcos Ayers has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ayers tries to clinch but Hazard is having none of it.

Ayers shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hazard is trying to defend but Ayers finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ayers stops Hazard from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ayers tries to stand and escape but Hazard actually recovers to full guard.
Hazard pulls Ayers in close to his closed guard and prevents Ayers from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eden Hazard dominated that round.
That's time! Ayers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Ayers fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hazard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ayers on his heels. He'll look to pass Ayers's guard now, I'm sure.
Hazard trying to control but Ayers is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hazard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ayers is keeping the position for now.
Hazard lands a couple of elbows.

Ayers wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hazard is now in half guard.

Well, if Hazard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hazard wants to work for an arm triangle but Ayers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Eden Hazard has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hazard seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hazard passes into side control, despite Ayers's attempt to control the position.
Hazard working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Ayers avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hazard.

Hazard is working to tighten his grip on Ayers's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ayers has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hazard is really squeezing tight and eventually Ayers passes out! Hazard breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Eden Hazard!
Eden Hazard seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
