The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Teravainen shows good takedown defense.
Teravainen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Teravainen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Antonio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Teravainen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Teravainen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Teravainen pushes Silva back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Teravainen but Teravainen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Teravainen lands a slapping body shot.

Teravainen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva misses with a body shot
and Teravainen comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Silva stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Teravainen is on him like rabid pit bull! Silva slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Teuvo Teravainen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
