The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hook but Montoya avoids it easily.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Montoya.
A right-left combo lands from Jones.
It looks like Chung Montoya has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montoya circles away quickly and effectively.

Alexander Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Montoya swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones looks to land a combination but Montoya avoids it well.
Montoya does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Montoya misses with a two punch combination.
Montoya avoids the head kick by Jones.

and Montoya counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.

and Jones scores with a counter punch that sends Montoya to the canvas! Jones smells blood - he's punishing Montoya with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Montoya has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
