Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alak Aksornpan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Rio's entrance music is Requiem for a dream. A fine choice. Aksornpan has chosen Thai National Anthem - "Phleng Chat Thai" as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Alberto Del Rio has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alberto Del Rio seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Rio is looking to clinch.
Aksornpan misses with a series of wild punches.
Aksornpan misses with a low kick.
Aksornpan throws a right and a left that Del Rio avoids nicely.
Del Rio moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Alberto Del Rio has been cut.
Alak Aksornpan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aksornpan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Del Rio shoots in looking for a takedown but Aksornpan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Del Rio's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Aksornpan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A punch combination from Aksornpan misses.
Del Rio slips a jab and a cross from Aksornpan.
Aksornpan closes the distance and clinches up with Del Rio, looking for a takedown. Aksornpan pushes Del Rio against the cage but Del Rio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aksornpan tries to bum rush Del Rio with a series of wild strikes but Del Rio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aksornpan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aksornpan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Del Rio closes the distance and clinches up with Aksornpan, looking for a takedown. Del Rio pushes Aksornpan against the cage but Aksornpan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Del Rio tries to stand but Aksornpan is controlling from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Del Rio wants to get up but he can't break Aksornpan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Del Rio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aksornpan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Aksornpan striking off his back but it's not causing Del Rio any problems.

Aksornpan looking for a triangle here. Del Rio is fighting it but it looks tight! Aksornpan pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Del Rio is tapping out - this one is all over!
