Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aidan Rose will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Cross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aidan Rose!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Cross counters with a shoot takedown. Rose fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cross tries to free his leg and advance position but Rose is retaining full guard.
Cross is in close to Rose's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rose keeping moving, preventing Cross from controlling successfully.
Cross working some strikes from top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cross throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rose works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cross landing some decent shots from guard.
Rose is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cross is controlling him.
Rose looks winded!
Cross throwing strikes but missing.

Cross controlling from the top position.
Cross pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rose is keeping the position for now.
Cross works over Rose with some ground and pound from guard.
Cross landing with the ground and pound.
Cross forces his way into half guard.
Cross is nestled in close to Rose, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Cross working Rose over with strikes.
Cross seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rose wants to control but Cross passes into side.
Cross cracks Rose with a big right hand but Rose just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Cross is chipping away with strikes.
Cross controlling the position from side mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rose takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Cross works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Rose is rocked!
Cross lands a strong strike to the head of Rose. That's dazed him! Cross looking to finish here. Rose is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cross lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
