Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Ron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent slips a straight right by Ron.
Kent blocks a jab.
Ron is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ron scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Good exchange - Ron coming out on top.
Ron throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kent sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ron misses with a double jab
letting Kent counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ron throws a body punch but Kent moves out of range.
Kent's coach down at Clean and Green was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kent's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kent throws a nice looking combination but Ron bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ron jabs Kent to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kent works over Ron's head and body with a nice combination.
Kent slips under a jab from Ron.
Ron throws a series of punches but Kent moves out of range.

Kent tries to bum rush Ron with a series of wild strikes but Ron uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ron goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kent is rocked!
Ron throws a hook to the side of Kent's head but Kent sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kent is still on wobbly legs! Can Ron finish him?

and Kent counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ron.
Ron fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kent seems to have recovered his senses.
Kent makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Ron stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ron dips a shoulder and cracks Kent with a mighty uppercut! Kent falls back against the cage and Ron unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kent is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ron screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
