Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Jamal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Togi Makabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makabe has chosen Immigrant Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makabe tries to clinch but Jamal is having none of it.
Makabe doesn't manage to clinch there - Jamal circles away.
Jamal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Makabe forces Jamal back against the cage and clinches.

Jamal has clasped his hands together around Makabe's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Makabe wants to get back to his feet.
Makabe is looking to regain half guard here but Jamal keeps moving and retains side control.

Makabe explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Jamal shoots for a double leg takedown but Makabe sprawls well. He's pushed Jamal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Makabe has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Jamal tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Makabe defends well and Jamal ends up having to push Makabe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Makabe.

Makabe throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Makabe pushes Jamal against the cage. Makabe is working some dirty boxing. Makabe pushes off with a quick right hook! Jamal goes down! Jamal tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Makabe moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

After winning the bout, Togi Makabe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
