The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hrcak scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Irwin tries to improve position but can't.

Hrcak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hrcak misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Hrcak lands some shots froms side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Irwin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hrcak wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hrcak is working Irwin over with some ground and pound from side control.
Check out the look on Hrcak's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Hrcak has hold of Irwin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Irwin seems comfortable defending it but Hrcak has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Irwin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Irwin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hrcak couldn't care less - he's delighted!

In his post fight interview, Ljuti Hrcak started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
