Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darc Von Hayek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brody has chosen Tom Petty - Won't Back Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Brody!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Von Hayek, right into the meat.
Von Hayek feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brody's calf.
Von Hayek dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brody. That did some damage!
Von Hayek tests Brody's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Brody throws a hook to the side of Von Hayek's head but Von Hayek sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Von Hayek uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brody.

It looks like Frank Brody has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Von Hayek lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brody has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brody and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Von Hayek has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brody finds it's way round the side to connect with Von Hayek's head.
Von Hayek does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Brody lands a left and a right that send Von Hayek crashing to the mat, dazed. Brody thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Von Hayek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brody takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Brody is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Von Hayek had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Von Hayek will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Von Hayek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That kick from Von Hayek tenderised Brody's leg. Brody is trying to keep his angry face on.
