The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kono. Tischler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kono misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kono dips to his left and cracks Tischler with an uppercut!
Kono lands a head kick. Tischler smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A leg kick checked by Kono.
Tischler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kono counters with a straight right hand.
Tischler throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Tischler lands a front kick.
Kono connects with a single shot there.

Tischler is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tischler glances at the clock... BAM! Kono nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Tischler crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Tischler is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

After winning the bout, Hideo Kono thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
