Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Diggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank DeNino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeNino lands a right hook to the body.
DeNino connects with a jab.
Diggs swings for the body but DeNino moves out of range.
DeNino's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diggs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! DeNino scrambles back to his feet.
DeNino looks to land a combination. Diggs sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
DeNino displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diggs.
Diggs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diggs throws a leg kick but DeNino sees it coming and moves out of range.
Diggs has been working on his balance at Island Top Team, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by DeNino.
