Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris The Bullettooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Light has chosen Ride for This-Fabolous as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light throws a nice looking combination but Bullettooth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bullettooth finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bullettooth fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jab, jab by Bullettooth - just one landing.
No joy there for Light, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bullettooth throws a right hand that Light ducks under and follows up with a left that Light also avoids with ease.
Light loads up on a big right hand but Bullettooth slips the punch.

and Light counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Light is keen to just control but Bullettooth is a slippery customer.

Light seems to be looking for submissions.
Bullettooth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Light is working away from the top position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Light throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bullettooth works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Light trying to control the position from guard on top but Bullettooth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Light has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Light drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Light jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters circling - Bullettooth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Good leg kick by Bullettooth there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Light tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bullettooth defends well and Light ends up having to push Bullettooth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bullettooth swings wildly with an uppercut but Light uses good head movement to avoid it.

Light is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bullettooth pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bullettooth makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Bullettooth lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Light backwards.
Light tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bullettooth just stands there and leans against the cage.
Boris The Bullettooth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Light.
Light tries to pull guard but Bullettooth won't allow it.
Light is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bullettooth to keep the fight standing.

Light tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bullettooth smiles and moves away.

Light shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bullettooth defends it nicely.

No joy there for Light, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Light throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Light uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bullettooth.
Bullettooth fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Light has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bullettooth thows a body kick. Light tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Bullettooth counters with a nice double leg into side control. Light won't be happy with that.
Light is not content to let Bullettooth control the position.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bullettooth here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
