Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McClane moves into the clinch successfully.

McClane turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McClane manages to end up in side control.
Santo can't do much from the bottom here.

McClane stands up and we're back to a striking position.
McClane wants to clinch.
Santo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McClane swivels and escapes.
A combination from Santo does no damage.
No joy there for Santo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Santo closes the distance and clinches up with McClane, looking for a takedown. Santo pushes McClane against the cage but McClane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Santo tries to keep at a distance but McClane has taken the fight into the clinch.

McClane is trying to trip Santo. He has hold of a leg but Santo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. McClane persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Santo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McClane's waist but McClane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santo off to one side.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
