The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Davies or perhaps it was just good defense by Henderson which made him look bad.
Davies tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Henderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Davies misses with a takedown attempt - Henderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Davies can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Davies slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Henderson lands a nice short elbow.

Henderson has hold of Davies's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Davies tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Henderson cranks the arm and Davies screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Davies, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
