The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Verceti.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Verceti.
Verceti tries to close the distance and clinch but Miranda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Verceti gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Miranda counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Verceti!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Verceti. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miranda stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Horrible takedown by Verceti or perhaps it was just good defense by Miranda which made him look bad.
Miranda keeps the fight on the outside.

Verceti tries to buck Miranda off but Miranda is having none of it.
Miranda has an Americana. Verceti didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Miranda is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Miranda hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
