The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vult tries to clinch but Soprano is having none of it.
Vult cracks Soprano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vult tries to close the distance and clinch but Soprano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Soprano looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Soprano throws a right and a left that Vult avoids nicely.
Vult tries to clinch up but Soprano circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Soprano misses the target.
Soprano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vult tries a head kick but it misses.
Sloppy strikes from Vult. Those never looked like landing.

Vult loads up on a big right hand but Soprano slips the punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Soprano connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vult's hands.

It looks like Reinhart Vult has been cut.

Vult clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Soprano swings wildly with an uppercut but Vult uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vult blocking some punches.
Vult lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Enzo Soprano has been cut.
Soprano stalling in the clinch but Vult improves position.
Soprano has Vult pressed against the cage, preventing Vult from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Soprano avoids a wild elbow strike from Vult.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Soprano scores with a big shot! Vult's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Vult! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
