Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Mustang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brown Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustang comes to the cage accompanied by Little Rock. Wilson has chosen crazy bitch as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Mustang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Brown Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Mustang as he connects with a hook.
Some wild striking there from Mustang.
Mustang lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mustang pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wilson back to the cage. Mustang follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Roy Mustang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mustang explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Mustang shoots in and bounces Wilson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mustang advances position into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilson is trying to control Mustang's posture but Mustang avoids it.
Mustang takes a little break here. Wilson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Mustang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wilson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mustang thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mustang tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wilson is not content to let Mustang control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mustang working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson trying to remain calm as Mustang controls from the top position.
Wilson wants to get back to his feet.

Mustang tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mustang has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wilson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mustang.

Mustang goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wilson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mustang's guard! Nice work there by Wilson!

Mustang wants to stand but Wilson is controlling the position.
Wilson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Wilson is looking to advance position but Mustang has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Mustang looking for a guillotine from mount but Wilson is having none of it.
Wilson tries to hold on but Mustang postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mustang is looking to work his way around to Wilson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Mustang looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson can't escape the position.
Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mustang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mustang is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wilson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mustang throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mustang looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy Mustang dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A punch lands to the side of Wilson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Mustang has closed the distance and engaged Wilson in a clinch.
Wilson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mustang pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wilson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wilson there as he acknowledges the shot.

Mustang has taken the fight to the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Wilson is trying to drag Mustang to the mat but Mustang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mustang drags the fight down to the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mustang is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilson is controlling him.
Mustang is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wilson trying to move into half guard but instead Mustang has managed to sweep!
Mustang pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wilson is keeping the position for now.

Mustang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wilson dives on top into guard.
Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wilson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mustang has locked up a guillotine! Mustang's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wilson is holding on here and Mustang must be using up a lot of energy. Wilson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mustang gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Roy Mustang!
In his post fight interview, Roy Mustang gave a big smile as he said 'Woohoo it's nice to be the champion again! I bear booker before and I knew I could again. It's nice to be the best in the world again!'.
