Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Raith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackman's entrance music is DMX - It's Dark & Hell Is Hot. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harvey Jackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas Raith!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raith tries to clinch but Jackman moves out of range.
Jackman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Raith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Jackman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thomas Raith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Raith to the mat! Raith manages to get full guard.

Jackman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Raith is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackman wants to stand but Raith has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Raith is looking for a sweep. Jackman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Raith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Raith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Jackman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jackman feints a jab promting Raith to slip. Jackman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Raith slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Raith shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackman tries to sprawl out of it but Raith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jackman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Raith tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackman is in Raith's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackman manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Raith keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
