Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andres Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Krause was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Santiago tries to bum rush Krause with a series of wild strikes but Krause uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Krause gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Krause showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Santiago.
Krause is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Santiago's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Santiago is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Krause jumps into side control!
Krause has hold of Santiago's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Santiago tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Krause cranks the arm and Santiago screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Santiago, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
