Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Polish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Mackenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Polish might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ice Cube - Today was a Good Day. James Polish has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackenzie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Polish tries to avoid it but Mackenzie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Polish to the ground. Polish escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Polish scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Polish thuds his right hand into Mackenzie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Mackenzie is taking a breather. Polish says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Polish has left one of his arms exposed and Mackenzie doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Polish screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
