The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos gets caught flat footed, as Armando shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Santos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Armando got a little sloppy there for a moment and Santos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Armando has managed to get both his arms back between Santos's legs - danger averted.
Santos is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Santos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Armando is one step ahead there.
Armando really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Armando's guard.
Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Santos drops back looking for a leg! Armando is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Armando manages to kick Santos off! Santos jumps back into Armando's guard.
Santos wanted to stand there but Armando had control of the position.

Santos wants to get up but he can't break Armando's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Santos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Armando is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Santos, into his guard.

Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Armando wants to take a breather but Santos is having none of it.
Santos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Armando's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Armando's back!

Armando is trying to defend against the choke here but Santos has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Santos Tightens the hold and Armando taps out furiously! Santos displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
