PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chocolate Al (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Longhold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al comes into the arena with Magnetic Eyes blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Chocolate Al has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chocolate Al seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Longhold has managed to clinch.

Al breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Al ducks under a wild hook from Longhold.
Longhold on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Danga de danga de dang - Longhold scores with a four punch combination!
Longhold takes one to the chin there.
Al has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Al throws a hook but Longhold blocks it.
Al sizes up Longhold with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A big left from Al misses.
Al circles away from the clinch attempt.
Al scores with a nice right hand.
Longhold misses with a double jab
enabling Al to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Steve Longhold has been cut.
Longhold throws a nice looking combination but Al bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Longhold swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Al misses with an uppercut. Longhold saw that one coming.
Longhold looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Longhold slips a straight right by Al.
Al looks to throw the jab but Longhold is out of range.
Al comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fighters circling - Longhold throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Al lands with a right hand.
Longhold swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Al counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Longhold is rocked!
Longhold throws a jab but it's blocked by Al.
Longhold gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Al gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chocolate Al!
During a confident post fight interview, Chocolate Al thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
