PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Ulrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulrich comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Zambombada kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns misses with a straight left.
Burns throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ulrich fails to land the takedown.
Burns closes the distance and clinches up with Ulrich, looking for a takedown. Burns pushes Ulrich against the cage but Ulrich circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Javier Ulrich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns shoots in for a double leg but Ulrich sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ulrich drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nathan Burns.
Burns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ulrich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
